Two species have been added to the Angus Diptera list
On 1 September 2023, James Clark recorded the leaf mines of Agromyza alnivora Spencer, 1969 and Phytoliriomyza melampyga (Loew, 1869) at Inshewan, Angus, VC90 – both species were previously not known from this vice county. Many thanks to James for sending in the records.
This part of Scotland is very much under-recorded, with the scheme holding only 54 records. Any more records from this vice county would be very welcomed indeed!
