Two Phytobia species are added to the East Kent list
Dylan Hodgkiss found the larval signs of Phytobia carbonaria (Zetterstedt, 1848) and Phytobia cerasiferae (Kangas, 1955) in Hawthorn and Blackthorn stems respectively at Wye, East Kent (VC15) on 3 January 2024. These are the first known records of each species in the vice county.
