Phytobia species is added to the Mid-west Yorkshire Diptera list
On 2 January 2024, Jill Cunningham recorded the larval mines of Phytobia cerasiferae (Kangas, 1955) in Blackthorn stems at Colton Retail Park, Leeds VC64. This is the first known occurrence of the species in the vice county.
