Phytomyza species is reported as new to Bedfordshire Diptera list
On 22 November 2023, Matthew Ames collected leaf mines on Ox-eye Daisy at Cotton End, Bedfordshire VC30, which subsequently produced an adult male of Phytomyza paraciliata (Godfray, 1985). This is the first record for the vice county.
