Cerodontha (Poemyza) melicae is added to the Scottish Diptera list
Dean Stables has published a short note* having reared this species from a leaf mine and puparia found in Cock’s-foot (Dactylis glomerata) in Glasgow. Two males were successfully reared and determined by the male genitalia.
This record represents the first record for Scotland the first British record since 1963.
