Two Phytobia species added to yet another vice county list
On 26 December 2023, Dylan Hodgkiss recorded the medullary spots and feeding tracks of two Phytobia species; Phytobia carbonaria (Zetterstedt, 1848) and Phytobia cerasiferae (Kangas, 1955). Larval signs were found at Old Dunnings Mill, East Grinstead, East Sussex VC14, representing the first records of these species in the vice county.
