Phytobia species is reported as new to Buckinghamshire Diptera list
On 7 March 2024, Matthew Harrow recorded the larval feeding signs of Phytobia cerasiferae (Kangas, 1955) in Blackthorn at Pitstone, Buckinghamshire VC24. This is the first known record of the species in the vice county.
