Blackthorn feeder is added to the East Suffolk Diptera list
On 1 January 2024, John Pilgrim found larval feeding signs of Phytobia cerasiferae (Kangas, 1955) in Blackthorn stems at Boyton, East Suffolk VC25. John’s record is the first known occurrence of the species in the vice county.
