Hawthorn feeder is added to the East Suffolk Diptera list
On 30 December 2023, John Pilgrim found the feeding signs of Phytobia carbonaria (Zetterstedt, 1848) in Hawthorn from his East Suffolk (VC25) garden. This is the first known record of the species in the vice county.
