Leaf miner is added to the E. Gloucestershire Diptera list
Sam Newton visited Daneway Banks, GWT Nature Reserve, East Gloucestershire VC33, on 8 September 2023 and recorded the leaf mines of Liriomyza valerianae Hendel, 1932 on Valeriana officinalis. Sam’s record is the first known occurrence of the species in the vice county. Many thanks to Sam for sending in his record.
