Phytobia species is added to yet another vice county list
On 5 January 2024, John Lyden found the typical larval feeding signs of Phytobia carbonaria (Zetterstedt, 1848) in Hawthorn at Lucton School, Herefordshire VC36. John’s observation is the first known record for the vice county. Many thanks to John for sending in the record.
