Two Phytobia species are added to the Warwickshire Diptera list
Robert Homan has added two Phytobia species to the Warwickshire VC38 list. A visit to Ilmington on 14 January 2024 resulted in the medullary spots of Phytobia carbonaria (Zetterstedt, 1848) and Phytobia cerasiferae (Kangas, 1955) being found in Hawthorn and Blackthorn stems respectively.
