Two Phytobia species are added to the Cardiganshire Diptera list
John Lyden visited Constitution Hill, Aberystwyth, Cardiganshire VC46 on 18 February 2024 and recorded the larval feeding signs of Phytobia carbonaria (Zetterstedt, 1848) and Phytobia cerasiferae (Kangas, 1955). John’s records are the first for either species in the vice county.
