Phytobia species is added to the Diptera list for Leicestershire
On 30 December 2023, Mark Skevington examined Hawthorn stems at Whetstone, Leicestershire VC55 and found the medullary spots of Phytobia carbonaria (Zetterstedt, 1858). Mark’s record is the first for the vice county.
