Species new to VC56

Phytobia species is added to yet another vice county list

Nicholas Brownley has added Phytobia cerasiferae (Kangas, 1955) to the Nottinghamshire Diptera list. Nicholas found medullary spots and feeding tracks in Blackthorn on 26 December 2023, at Dukes Wood NWT, Kirklington, Nottingham VC56. Many thanks to Nicholas for getting in touch with the scheme.
