Phytomyza seed feeder is reported as new to Cheshire list
On 29 June 2024, Chris Hynes found the puparium of Phytomyza varipes Macquart, 1835 in the seeds of Yellow-rattle at Northwich, Cheshire VC58. This is the first record of the species for the vice county.
