Phytobia species is added to the North Devon Diptera list
On 4 January 2024, Jenny Vickers examined Blackthorn stems at Heal Rewilding, North Somerset VC6, and found the medullary spots of Phytobia cerasiferae (Kangas, 1955). Jenny’s record is the first known occurrence of the species in the vice county.
