Phytobia species is reported as new to West Lancashire list
On 22 February 2024, the Fishwick Volunteers found the larval feeding signs of Phytobia cerasiferae (Kangas, 1955) in Blackthorn stems at Fishwick Local Nature Reserve, West Lancashire VC60. This is the first known record for the vice county.
