Phytomyza species is added to the North-east Yorkshire Diptera list
On 2 July 2024, Sam Newton found the mines of Phytomyza bipunctata Loew, 1858 at Sutherland Cottage, Cropton, North-east Yorkshire on Echinops. This is the first record for the vice county.
