Phytobia species is added to a second Scottish vice county
On 14 January 2023, Lee Johnson found the larval feeding signs of Phytobia cerasiferae (Kangas, 1955) in Blackthorn stems at Sorn, Mauchline, Aryshire VC75. This represents the first occurrence of the species in the vice county and just the second confirmed Scottish record.
