Phytobia species is reported as new to Dunbartonshire Diptera list
On 19 February 2024, Dean Stables found the larval feeding signs of Phytobia cerasiferae (Kangas, 1955) in Blackthorn stems along the F&C Canal towpath, High Knightswood, Dunbartonshire VC99. This is the first record for the vice county.
