Provisional Status Review
In 2022, the National Agromyzidae Recording Scheme produced a provisional status review of all Agromyzidae species recorded in Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Although not a formal publication, the review was compiled to give recorders a greater understanding of the current status of Agromyzidae in GB&NI. Knowing if a species is ‘common’ or ‘nationally scarce’ is something many recorders like to know and although Agromyzidae remain an under-recorded family, interest has grown in recent times allowing the statuses given within this review to be a fair representation.
New status reviews will be compiled periodically and added to the list to the right. The statuses within the 2022 review are given on each species page within this website but the full document can be downloaded by clicking on the title to the right.
